Miami’s Building Department has issued a site work permit for the Villa condo tower site in Edgewater.
The permit was issued on August 2, and a revision was filed the same day.
Moss & Associates is the contractor attached to the permit.
A master construction permit for the new tower and a seawall permit have also been applied for.
The planned 56-story, 650-foot tower will be an “architectural marvel,” its developers have said.
It will include 72 condos, a rooftop helipad, and a restaurant by Major Food Group.
Villa Miami will also feature a distinctive copper color-cladded exoskeletal design.
Major Food Group, David Martin’s Terra and One Thousand Group are partnering to develop the building.
