Skyrise Developer Signs Deal To Expand Shopping Center In Kendall

The developer of Skyrise has signed a deal for utilities to expand a shopping center in Kendall.

Berkowitz Development’s Kendall Village Center will add new retail and warehouse space, according to documents signed by Jeff Berkowitz.

The project includes 76,951 square feet of retail space for Floor & Decor, as well as 114,602 square feet of self storage space. The expansion is being built on a five-acre site adjacent to the mall.

I hope he stays in Kendall. Skyrise is one ugly piece of monstrosity that doesn’t belong in downtown Miami and I don’t care how many thumbs down you people want to give me for saying that.
