Finishing touches are being put in place at Brightline’s MiamiCentral station.
Trains are now regularly pulling into the station for testing, and the first passengers should be able to ride the high-speed rail to Fort Lauderdale within weeks.
Tri-Rail is also coming to MiamiCentral, but it has been delayed. The Federal Railroad Administration requires additional safety protocols which still have not been passed. It could start sometime in 2019, according to Miami Today.
