You think buildings in Miami is getting repetitous, you should go and check out cities in Europe like Paris or Barcelona. Walk two blocks and you’re completely mindboggled.

” Direct ocean views from every residence ” – Or at least until Genting builds directly in front of them a 60 story tower or two.

at first I was sure this would never proceed but now I think it just might be very successful ….the location is pretty nice and exploding with promising new development..and related has powerful marketing and deep pockets,,,kinda disappointed not being built at once if this rendering is correct

It is great to see Biscayne Wall taking shape on the other side of the I395…now let’s hope for someone to bring back the tunnel idea

Anonymous

There’s a horrible pointless bridge being planned instead

Look, stop wishing for tunnels or other quirky ideas like that. What is needed is a colossal building boom in that area to finally fill in all those empty lots north by northwest of the Arsht center. That’s why I appreciate Melo, because they’re really one of the very few developers trying to build up and change that area.

totally agree…. plus melo offers affordable urban core housing…melo has led the way in jumpstarting Omni/edgewater….hope they continue west of ne 2nd soon

It’s supposed to be 3 towers so I suspect the hotel will be one of the other 2.

Anonymous

now a days, nowhere to be found but at least is good density for the area. from a positive point of view it will block horrible Melo project behind

Anonymous

You mean “it’s good density” and what’s all the hate for Melo anyway?

Another blank f-you wall on the back?

marc

The render shows you the backside is the same as the front. So no, no “blank f-you wall on the back”.

Great news, thank you marc.

I did look at the renders for a few minutes and couldn’t quite figure it out.
