The developers who are planning a supertall tower at 1201 Brickell Bay Drive were granted new financing, days after the FAA approved the height of the tower.
TWJ 1201, LLC, the owner of the property, was granted a $20 million mortgage from Wells Fargo. The financing is in addition to a previously issued $25 million loan from the same bank, bringing the total to $45 million.
The paperwork was signed on August 30 by Tibor Hollo in Miami-Dade, and by Drew McCourt in Los Angeles. Both are listed as authorized members of the managing partners of TWJ 1201.
