The Hub At Brickell Planned On One Of Miami’s Busiest Streets For Pedestrians

Brickell’s South Miami Avenue, already among the busiest streets for pedestrians in Miami, will soon have a new retail or restaurant space called The Hub at Brickell.

The Hub will be built on the former sales center for Brickell Flatiron, which was just sold to a group of investors from Argentina.

Existing landscaping installed by Raymond Jungles would be kept, while the sales center itself will be demolished, a broker involved in the deal told the Herald.

Restaurants from London, Colombia, and Mexico have inquired about leasing space there, the broker said. A decision on a tenant is expected by the end of 2021.

The land size is 11,088 square feet.

The Hub is expected to include 15,000 square feet of retail and dining space spread over four floors.

Completion is expected by the end of 2023.

Fabio Faerman and Sebastian Faerman of FA Commercial brokered the $6.5 million sale of the property, and are also handling leasing for the new building.

Duble dekker sidewalks, no room in the inn!

Right? For a tourist city Miami sidewalks suck. Light and power poles, trees, and cars all take up space on the sidewalks. In some areas they don’t even exist.

Totally true.
Even Brickell area, no preference for people, pedestrians. Poles and cars take precedence

Don’t forget Metromover and freeway flyovers ruining any potential for compete streets.

Heck, if you don’t like it, why whine, move to Homestead or somewhere else. There are plenty of places in Florida and the U.S. to choose from.

All criticism is whining even if valid?

Yes.. whining instead of relocating if you’re that upset about the way the Metromover and Freeways were built in Miami is futile… especially whining about something that was in place probably before you were born.

“For a tourist city Miami sidewalks suck”

A lot of people in Miami still don’t get it.. Miami Beach is the biggest draw, not the mainland.

Make it a park – Join it to the small existing green space. Bad city planning. Brickell has no green space.

Are you insane? Totally not applicable to the comment you are responding, the Everglades national park is not even in the city of Miami, let alone Brickell…

Except for the 9 acre Simpson Park, Southside Park, Brickell Park, and Underline Park…there isnt any greenspace.

Yeah, there isn’t any green space except for the 9 acre Simpson Park, Southside Park, Brickell Park, and Underline Park which are few parks that comes to mind.

Parking pedestals are built for Car Storage? So that’s why it cost so much to park your vehicle at these apartments.
