The Standard Residences In Midtown Miami Gets Water & Sewer, Groundbreaking End Of 2022

The Standard Residences in Midtown Miami has obtained water & sewer utilities and has announced a start date for construction.

Groundbreaking is planned at the end of this year, according to Carlos Rosso, the founder of Rosso Development.

Condo units at The Standard continue to sell “extremely well,” Rosso said.

According to a press release, 70% of the project’s 228 residences have already been sold.

Monthly rentals of units will be permitted.

The Standard will also include a rooftop lounge, 34,000 square feet of amenity space, and ground floor retail.

Arquitectonica is the architect, with interior design by Urban Robot.

Another fine addition to Midtown Miami, wonder if theyre going to renovate the garage because it only has entry and exit on the southside.

Great addition to Midtown! With the Innovation District, the area will be transformed.

Nice addition to Midtown, but isn’t the “Innovation District” just south of 836/395 near Park West/Overtown? Not sure what this has to do with that.

The Innovation District will better connect Wynwood/Midtown to Overtown and Park West, and ultimately downtown proper.

$650k for a 2 bedroom though. Where’s the $350k new construction condos at??

350k new construction doesn’t get you into a building with punching bags and a ping pong table.

I could care less about punching bags. I don’t even want a pool. I just need normal condos on the market. Too much catering to the rich. And the only ones that are building somewhat normal buildings is Melo. But they’re all rentals.

well some peoole like to do more then just sit inside their units playing around on the web. And pools and punching bags are hardly lux amenities in a building lol. Plenty of cheap condos in Kendall, and heck they even got pools. You gotta expand your search. You cannot expect to afford to live in whatever neighborhood you want on an average Joe’s income.

I make a little over $100k so it’s definitely not avg Joe income. People are being dumb and spending way too much money on rent and mortgage payments can barely afford. Miami is not loaded with millionaires like NYC. A there’s should be building popping up everywhere around the downtown area for $300-400k. That’s not really a cheap range.

^^100k/yr is on the high end of average Joe income…incomes along with inflation have skyrocketed the last few years, and 100k/yr isn’t all that high or rare anymore. Miami’s RE market IS loaded with millionaires, earning the money elsewhere and paying cash here for properties. $300k for a new construction 2 bedroom downtown anywhere is unrealistic–even in the suburbs it would be a push to find. And nobody wants a building without a pool in hot humidassed Miami sheeesh.

It’s unrealistic at moment bc the market is inflated. Most people in miami barely make $50k. This is not sustainable and will correct itself eventually, especially with companies requiring workers to go back to the office.

Nothing standard about that kitchen. Rest looks nice…

The the upper is sort of bleh, but the material on the lower part is nice. At least Arquitectonica didn’t screw it up with irregular balconies and windows.

Get metrorail in midtown. Make miami walkable city as all major world cities. It’s not sleepy village anymore.
