A total demolition permit has been applied for at the Mohawk at Wynwood site across from Midtown Miami.
The permit application was submitted on August 7, and is pending review.
Jaxi Builders is listed as the demolition contractor, with an estimated cost of $163,000.
A separate permit for construction of the new apartment building is currently in review. It was applied for in December 2022, and lists Coastal Construction as the contractor.
Mohawk At Wynwood is planned to rise 12 stories and include:
- 260 residential units
- 31,000 square feet of retail
- 335 parking spaces
