Trader Joe’s Is Now Open In South Beach: Photos Of Today’s Grand Opening

Trader Joe’s opened today in South Beach for the first time.

Photos show the store was packed with customers when it opened this morning at 9 AM.

South Beach resident Terry Keller made one of the first purchases at the new store, an apple which he called symbolic. His receipt showed that he checked out at 9:07 AM, and the store was “crazy” then, he said.

On a per square foot basis, Trader Joe’s has received the most media coverage from TNM. No judgment, just observation.

I will be there this weekend with 2 carts. Need to stack up on my sauces, they have the best ones ever. Try them if you haven’t yet, they are far superior than anything on Publix of Winn Dixie.

Nice to see so many people who may have alternative work schedules or work from home enjoying the grand opening of a great new business in their neighborhood.

Nice to have more options. When is the big new Whole Foods opening that it seems was announced years ago?

It looks like a Sedano’s!!

That is like comparing a Tesla to a Honda. They may both have 4 wheels and 4 doors, but the options on the inside is what sets them apart.

South Beach actually has a lot of ugly people. All the better looking folk moved to the mainland.

Agree!…Lots of ugly people ….. the good looking and good shape gays moved to Fort Lauderdale, the Supermodels starved to death, the good looking Miamians are going to Winwood and the locals are afraid to go out most of the time !!!

The pretty people waited until afternoon to shop.

you’re all missing the point. go to whole foods or publix on the beach, this isn’t the crowd. Did they bus people in to pack the store for the grand opening? Did they price things so affordable at the grand opening that folks came from Kendall, Hialeah, Little Havana? Something is fishy here, and it ain’t the snapper.
