The 42-story Miami Station is moving closer, with developers of the project applying for a tree permit.
The permit is to remove 18 trees.
It was applied for on July 12, with the full plans submitted on July 24 and now under review.
Coastal Construction is listed as the contractor. NW Miami Owner, with a Chicago address, is listed as the owner.
The main construction permit for vertical construction of the tower continued to move through the approval process in July, Building Department records show. Coastal is also the contractor.
A demolition permit for the site has already been issued.
Miami Station is planned to include 301 residential units, 244,000 square feet of office, and just over 7,000 square feet of retail.
ODP is the design architect.
Chicago-based developer The John Buck Company – Florida Value Partners, and BH Group with PEBB Enterprises purchased the site earlier this year for $39.5 million.
