Two-Story Penthouse At Brickell City Centre Sells For $5.75M

Another multi-million dollar penthouse has been sold at Brickell City Centre.

Penthouse 4202 at the Rise condo building was sold for $5.75 million. The deal closed on July 7 and was recorded July 11.

The Mark D. Nicewonder Trust is the buyer.

PH-4202 spans two levels of the building, on floors 42 and 43. It includes 3,936 of interior square feet, or 6,979 square feet when including terrace and balcony space.

Floor plans show that a plunge pool was an option on the first level terrace space, and an outdoor spa on the second level terrace. The apartment faces east towards Biscayne Bay.

What, you don’t want your top floor balcony (aka, only one with sunlight and won’t feel like being in a cave) to only be accessible through the master bedroom?

I also think he is talking about the new buildings that are going to be coming soon that will block most of the bay views/

Looks like all of the plunge pools got built.
Take a look at the aerials:

Not sure how much more the views will be affected by 700 Brickell Ave, let’s hope it doesn’t cast a shadow for the owner’s sake.

Good shots… Nice to see the majority of the lower balcony actually gets direct sun exposure.

Nearly $6mm and no dedicated office, media room, or work out area? This looks like a few bedrooms tacked on to a large open area/kitchen. What am I missing?

Your ability to see beyond.
Who would want a dedicated office, media room or work out area inside your apartment?
Just go hang out, ride your bike, jump in the pool, take UBER to the beach, bike to Key Biscayne and if you want to see a movie, go downstairs…
Get a life!

I think the fact that you referred to this as an apartment shows how far off-base you are. We are talking about a $6,000,000 penthouse home. Perhaps you should change your expectations?

Who would want:

a theater? Anyone who enjoys watching television on a large screen and in deep comfortable seating that would totally wreck the aesthetics of a formal living room.

an office? Anyone who likes to work in a space at home that you don’t stare at from a bed.

a gym? Anyone who likes to hop on a treadmill for 20-minutes before getting in the shower in the morning or evening without it having to involve trips in the elevator and getting cleaned up enough to interact and share a space with other people.

A living room with some bedrooms attached may make sense in a $2,000,000 unit, but I expect more at this price point.
