Ugo Colombo, Related Group Show Interest In School Board Land
Related Group and Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group are among those who have shown interest in land owned by the Miami-Dade School Board.
Up to 10 acres of land in downtown Miami could be sold or redeveloped, including the WLRN studios and School Board headquarters along with surrounding parking lots.
A member of a School Board committee overseeing the process told the Herald that its likely that the Board would simply redevelop, rather than sell the headquarters building. A Related executive told the paper that the company is simply ‘angling’ to get on the list in case the District decides to pursue the idea further.
