Developer PMG inked a utilities deal last month for 464 apartment units and 6,750 square feet of retail at Vice, on the western portion of the 300 Biscayne property.
Foundation work began in May. A photo taken over the weekend shows that the vertical phase of construction is now beginning.

Property Markets Group (PMG) is pleased to announce that the concrete pour at its 300 Biscayne Rental project took place on Saturday, August 20 at 243 NE 3rd St. John Moriarty & Associates of Florida, Inc. supervised the pour. Ideally positioned directly across from Bayside and just minutes from Miami Beach, Brickell and the Midtown area, the rental development will be located on the back portion of the two-acre 300 Biscayne property, which PMG purchased in November 2014.
Beginning in the early morning, cement trucks began the process of hauling in a total of 1,200 cubic yards of concrete with 40 to 50 cement trucks pouring 200 cubic yards per hour. The concrete came from Supermix Concrete downtown and airport area plants. The trucks commenced lining up starting at 7:00 am and police escorts were present though there were no road closures.
