Miami’s Building Department is now reviewing phased vertical and tree permits for the 2000 Wynwood development.
The phased vertical plans were accepted for review on March 20.
The tree permit was applied for on March 21, with the plans accepted this morning.
A master construction permit for the new tower is also in process, with Shawmut listed as the contractor.
In January, a total demolition permit for the site was issued.
2000 Wynwood was approved as a 12-story building by the Wynwood Design Review Committee and Miami’s Urban Development Review Board in June 2023.
According to a November utilities agreement with Miami-Dade’s Water & Sewer Department, the development will include:
- 310 residential units
- 1,000 square feet of full service restaurant
- 11,351 square feet of retail
There will also be 308 parking spaces.
