Good to see those projects happening along Biscayne.. will bring much needed retail to the area.

Original design would have transformed the area with an iconic building. Instead, we’re left with a mundane design

Boy, some of you people really need to get some reading comprehension.

2000 Biscayne is a “36-story rental” project. That other building you are referring to in the rendering was a “60-story condo tower” that was scrapped.

If we weren’t teased with the previous proposal, I would like this one. Still, it could be far worse.

That 60 story condo was better for the area for the skyline. However, I am satisfied that something will get built. We need more middle income folks to be able to afford the area.

So “middle income” tower housing can’t be iconic and beautiful, too? This one is boring and repetitive. Nothing to write home to mom about.

Why do they keep posting the previous proposal for the project? Don’t see how its relevant to the news.

If you take the “s” out of the Architects name you have a description of the building….

That first building was like a prototype.. before seeing the production car.

That first building was a proposed condo tower.

Who cares if it was going to be a condo tower or not? It’s about the aesthetics. This new model sucks.

Well, if your architecture company hadn’t gone out of business, they would’ve hired you to produce one of your as usual, “superb designs” for this project. See how you missed out?…now all you’re left with is bellyaching about another company’s design.
