Another demolition is imminent in downtown Miami, on property where Miami Worldcenter will soon begin construction.
Demolition permits are being processed for the building housing Will Call, a bar and music venue at 700 NE 2nd Ave. The club closed this week after four years, according to New Times.
Demolition will likely occur at the same time that nearby Mekka building will be razed. Both permits were applied for on the same day.
On a local radio show last week, Worldcenter’s Nitin Motwani said that actual construction on the project would begin within 90 days.
