A zoning change needed for a Wynwood project proposed by David Edelstein and several partners will be considered by a Miami board today.
In both March and April, the board deferred a decision on the zoning change. Miami’s planning department recommended denial, since it would permit a project that is ‘out of scale’ with the rest of the neighborhood.
The Edelstein partnership has offered to sign a covenant limiting the height to eight stories. If approved, the development could include up to 264 residential units.
