X Landing Opens At X Miami With Craft Beer And Food Trucks, ‘Rent By Bedroom’ Offered

Leasing is now underway at X Miami, PMG’s 464-unit “social” apartment building.

To kick off leasing, the developer has opened a pop-up green space called X Landing, with craft beer and food trucks. It will be open most days from 11am- 10pm with special events like yoga classes, dog meetups, wine tastings, and farmers markets (there’s also a leasing office).

If you can’t find a roommate, PMG will hook you up. The developer has a “Rent By Bedroom” program, offering tenants a single private bedroom and bathroom in a multi-bedroom apartment. Furnished apartments are also being offered.

Residents will have access to a lobby cocktail lounge, picnic courtyard, sky view social hall, and vegas-style pool deck. Other amenities include an oversized gym and fitness studios, two-level coworking space, self-service mini-market, smart package lockers, and an app that manages keyless entry for residents and guests, packages, event calendars, and smart thermostats.

… Vegas style pool deck?
Ok, what does that mean, slot machines by the towels?
I mean come on, a pool deck is a pool deck.
But seriously, this building looks great for millennials, although having lived with roommates that is something I personally would never do again.

No… It means you’re rolling the dice on what STD you’re gonna catch from the infinite amount of hookups this place will provide. Hey you think they’ll take a 40 something, divorced man?

They gave out condoms — hopefully those get used 🙂

Sadly there are things you can get even with a condom 🙁

LOL – I was thinking the same thing, except I’ve never been married. Hook a brother up!

It won’t be too long until they put an “X” on everything.

Most young Miami residents already live packed into roommate situations because it’s impossible to live here and not be some kind of corporate whore.

Rents starting at $1200’s makes sense when you are renting a room instead of an apartment.

It is like a hotel in a way. I am concerned about the screening process. There is a lot of fraud in rentals and to evict a tenant is a mission. If I am renting a room, I would want to be ensured that my roommate is not a thief or worse a rapist/murderer. But as long as they screen the tenant (credit, background, criminal, ect.), I guess it could work. The building looks beautiful.
