Construction of the 391-unit Avant at Met is clear to proceed after the developer closed on the property and obtained construction financing.
Developer ZOM paid $17.6 million for the air rights above Met Square and closed on a $101 million construction loan, according to The Real Deal. UBS Realty Investors is the lender.
The shell of the lower floors, which will include a 17-screen movie theater, retail and restaurant, is nearly complete. Completion of the apartment tower is estimated to be in the first quarter of 2018.
