Apartment developer ZOM has submitted the Maizon Brickell project for review at a meeting of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board today.
According to a letter from the developer’s attorney, the Project includes a 24 story structure with a total gross floor area of 424,258 square feet, which includes approximately 15,000 square feet of commercial use on the ground-level along with open courtyard areas and the residential leasing center for the apartment building. On the upper levels, the Project will include 262 residential apartment units in various configurations, as well as an amenity deck and pool for use of the residents on the 9th Story. The Project also includes an on-site parking garage with 348 parking spaces and four on-site loading berths.
Zom is in contract to purchase the development site at 221-237 SW 12th Street and 1100-1142 SW 2nd Avenue. In May, the developer told TNM that construction is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2017.
