One Of Wynwood’s Biggest Ever Apartment Buildings Now Open

Get ready for hundreds more residents in Wynwood.

AMLI Wynwood, a property with 316 luxury apartments, is now open, according to the AMLI Residential blog.

Units are available now, the property website shows.

A cross-block pedestrian passage is also now open, the blog post said.

The project also includes 388 parking spaces, and is among the largest to break ground in Wynwood.

Arquitectonica is the architect.

Ground floor retail tenants announced so far include Ghee Indian Kitchen, The Hive, and The Baked Bear, according to Metro 1.

For photos of the completed building, visit Metro 1 and AMLI.

The urbanism beginning to take shape in Wynwood is amazing – human scaled development, pedestrian paseos, colorful murals, community-driven events like smorgasburg, a mix of high, mid, and low end retail, office space – a real city within a city coming to life!!!!

Any idea what’s gonna happen with smorgasburg when Nomad starts construction?

They’re on different lots, so hopefully it continues. Nomad is on the block north of it, between NW 27th Street & 27th Terrace

Amen. Too bad all the height-obsessed people on here are going to scream “SHOULD BE TALLER”

>1:1 p.r. isn’t terribly urban core. Unless there’s a second phase of hundreds of more units or commercial space sharing them?

what “community”? The people that moved to Miami in the last 7-2 years? They’re an interchangeable mix of California and the North East. Its like they have their own ex-pat community in Miami

Would look so much better without the rotating Tetris blocks. Keep them all short side up, and mirrored. It would create an articulation effect, too.

More of a reason the metromover needs to be run up north miami ave and there needs to be a traffic light on 24st and north miami ave

I think a Tram is a better option. It ties in a lot better into the urban fabric without massive concrete flyovers

TNM talks about “hundreds” of units, but there aren’t that many, 316. As the tower is low, it looks like more. There are several buildings being built in Miami with many more units.

Well, 300 is several hundreds.

Three sets of 100 hundred units is in fact, “hundreds”

I also had the impression that there would be much more than 316 units. When I read hundreds, I immediately imagined about 700, 800 units.

Then go back to school. The “s” means plural – as in more than one. Thats it.

There are also several “luxury” skyscrapers in Brickell with less than 100 units
