Brickell City Centre Retail At 100% Occupancy, Again

Brickell City Centre’s shopping area continues to be fully occupied, according to developer Swire Properties.

Swire’s earning reports released yesterday showed that 100% of the retail space at the shopping center was occupied as of the company’s quarter end on March 31.

The retail space was also 100% occupied at the end of the previous quarter ending December 31.

Retail sales at Brickell City Centre continue to grow, up 6.5% in the first quarter compared to the same period in 2023.

Considering what is happening in retail in most other major cities in the North and in the West this is really remarkable.

Shopping is one of my hobbies! I love Miami’s retail scene. It’s unique and vibrant, unlike anywhere else. With many cities moving online and losing their tangible touch, I appreciate the personal connections you make while shopping in person at places like Brickell.

Hoping it’s a Trader Joe’s – it would be awesome to have a modern grocery store in Brickell.

Midtown is not “right by” World Center. They have three Publix locations within a 20 block radius near Brickell.

There’s no metro to midtown and driving there is a buzzkill

can’t wait to buy $5 chinese clothes at one of the premier malls in one of the most expensive high end neighborhoods in Miami. Couldn’t have kept this at dolphin mall?

In 15 years this will be the next Sunset Place. Hear me now and believe me later.

Don’t underestimate progress. In South Florida, places like Brickell City Centre and MBV keep getting better over time, like fine wine. Look at CityPlace’s transformation to the Square and back; it keeps improving with each era. This type of sustained progress is especially noticeable in places like Brickell.

Wrong! Sunset Place is in a really untrendy area. Brickell City Center is too desired to fail.

An iconic retail destination with cutting-edge design, revered worldwide, will always hold its prime position. Its global fame ensures it’s too significant to wane. In Florida and Miami, it’s unmatched, eclipsing any obscure, unheard-of references.
