Developers held a groundbreaking event last month for a 41-story tower on Biscayne Boulevard, and photos show that work is now underway.
The tower, known as 2600 Biscayne, will span an entire city block, one block away from a planned Northeast Corridor rail stop.
When complete, it will have 187,000 square feet of office and retail space on the lower levels, with 399 rental apartments on the upper floors, along with amenities. Over 600 parking spaces will also be built.
Gold Certification under the National Green Building Standard is planned.
More than 50% of the office and retail was leased before breaking ground.
The top off height of the tower is planned at 521 feet above ground and 529 feet above sea level.
Arquitectonica is the architect. Coastal Construction is the contractor.
Oak Row Equities is the developer. Bank OZK provided a $181M construction loan.
