New Tower At Miami Worldcenter’s Block C Approved

Miami’s Urban Development Review Board voted yesterday to recommend approval of a new tower at Miami Worldcenter’s Block C.

The board praised the clean and elegant design of the tower, according to architect Nichols.

The new tower is planned to rise 53 stories, or 632 feet above sea level at the roof, and include:

  • 280 hotel keys
  • 351 multifamily units with multiple amenity levels
  • bar and lounge, and pool deck on the 25th floor
  • multiple levels of retail and restaurant at street level
  • 331 parking spaces

Falcone Group, led by founder & CEO Art Falcone is the developer.

A brand partner for the building will be announced in the coming months.

I’m relatively new here and I walked this area the other day and was pleasantly surprised to find a pedestrian oriented neighborhood in Miami

The sidewalks are massive for sure, and the open concept vs a mall is definitely a winner. Now if we could get Biscaybe Blvd to become more pedestrian friendly so we could better access the parks, that would be fantastic.

They just need to build a pedestrian bridge across Biscayne Blvd to the park

Going to make Brickell City Center look like the glorified mediocre door-less mall it is

It’s a great asset to the city and there is no need to tear down one neighborhood to lift up another

Please, it’s an outdoor mall with a visible parking garage on the floors above…

Unlike Brickell City Center with 5′ sidewalks and speeding 3 lanes of traffic on most streets.

Speeding lanes in Brickell city center? Where they do that at? That would be a dream come true. Bcc is always on standstill traffic

Keep them coming, more towers means more retail coming down the line for MWC.

Even the name is a big 1 up on BCC. Brickell (neighborhood) citi (most cities are small) center vs Miami WORLD center.
