Society Wynwood Reaches Completion, Adding 348 New Apartments

One of Wynwood’s biggest ever apartment complexes is now open.

Society Wynwood, with 318 apartment units, recently reached completion with the first tenants moving in.

Most of the apartments are traditional units, with some rent-by-the-bedroom units also available.

Residents have access to over 82,000 square feet of amenities.

There’s also 50,210 square feet of commercial space, which surrounds an internal courtyard. Tenants on the ground floor will include:

  • Bodega Taqueria
  • Dave’s Hot Chicken
  • Starbucks
  • Chama De Fogo
  • Nacho Daddy

Miami-based PMG and Canada’s Greybrook are the developers.

I loveeeee the brick at the ground level

I don’t like how it just cuts off at the top with no molding. You know it’s going to chip off in a year or two and just look unfinished. Also is it brick or some faux tile?

Agreed. They need a better transition between the brick facade and the stucco. Like you said it looks unfinished and afterthought

We couldn’t keep Dave’s hot chicken up north 😔 mediocre fried chicken makes its way down to Miami with all the other bland restaurant chains now that Miami is in the spotlight

Call me super impressed… love what is happening in my hometown… no comparison to neighborhood from 10-15 years ago.

Great add to the density in the area. Also, the paradox museum across the street is quickly becoming a staple in the neighborhood.

Me and ninety-five percent only recognize one of those announced tenants, and will likely end up being the only one that hasn’t come and gone ten years from now.

This building is out of scale , I’m in favor of development but you have to respect the character of the neighborhood. they are building some nice towers in wynwood but not all them are nice , some of them are too big , too long and look very suburban

Can you elaborate on what you mean? As far as scale goes, this is right in line with everything else being produced in Wynwood.

This building is about 10 stories high .the buildings that surround it are one story buildings that”s why I said it was out of scale

Those one story buildings are getting knocked down little by little.

Okay…so you’re comparing it to 100 year old warehouses as opposed to all the new development being built under Miami 21?

Er…..okay..

What are you talking about? This is the perfect scale for Wynwood. It would also fit in well along major streets in Allapattah and Riverside/Little Havana. Keep them coming!
