Una Residences Tops Off At 47 Stories, Completion Early 2025

Miami’s Una Residences has topped off.

The 47-story tower was planned to top off at 579 feet, making it one of the tallest in that part of Brickell.

Construction for the project began in the fall of 2020, with contractors working to build the deepest and most expensive underground parking garage in Miami’s history.

The 236-car garage reaches nearly 50 feet and three stories below sea level.

Most of Una’s 135 condos are now sold. Two upper tri-level penthouses sold for $17.75 million each, which is the highest recorded in Brickell. A handful of units remain available for purchase priced from $4.4 million to $10 million.

Una’s developers are also building a public baywalk.

Completion is scheduled for early 2025.

Design of the tower is by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill architects.

OKO Group and Cain International are the developers.

Beauty is relative, traffic is not. There is too much traffic in Brickell

If you don’t like traffic then move to Quebec… I can tell you’re from there.

So get out of your car and stop being part of the problem.

And you can tell because no developers are developing new towers in Brickell…..
well….

except for this one.

and the other 18 new towers under construction.

Wrong!

Who really drives in Brickell? It’s easy to get by without a car or to use one just for special events. The traffic in Brickell is usually smooth. The real traffic issues are north and south of Brickell.

Lele you’re delusional or blind with all your comments today. You can’t see?

Too bad the same architectural standard wasn’t applied to Missoni Baia.

Just don’t miss the turn or you’ll end up in traffic on the Rickenbacker for 7 hours.

The view of this tower and ocean from 2nd Ave in Brickell are beautiful. Love watching it rise!

It’s taken forever, do you like construction noise and dust?

Anonymous

It’s actually been pretty fast! We live in a growing city so construction is very much expected.

Need many more buildings like this on Brickell Ave to replace the aging low-rises.

I appreciate the mid-rise buildings there, complemented by a few statement towers. Utilizing empty lots in the populated areas to the west helps keep the bay serene and enjoyable for everyone.

those buildings are old and decayed

Specially all those on Brickell Bay Dr….

The height of the buildings is not the problem. It’s their appearance. Many of them are becoming blighted.

If the home owners can’t pay to maintain them properly they can unite and sell the building togetherr as its most valuable land in Florida and make room for newer better towers.

Or developers can come in and initiate the buyout process for them! Let’s hope more buyouts are on the horizon.

Umm, no that area is kept mid to low-rise for a reason, and no j**koff on the internet will convince urban planners otherwise.

They disagree with you, for goodness sake. It was rezoned a few years ago with new high rises going up now.

It might have briefly been a saltwater swimming pool, but the deep parking work/ed/s? We’ll see how it lasts. Even the inland downtown dadeland underground garage has sumps etc.

I haven’t seen this much construction, going up so quickly, and steady flow of new residents in anywhere in the USA in my lifetime, not even in NYC.

Love the density but without expanding the metro system we’re going to be worse than Los Angeles traffic soon

Anonymous

As long as we keep building in Brickell on the western side and Riverside we will be good. There’s enough affordable areas along transit but not enough luxury upscale areas along the metro, changing soon!

Anonymous

Folks on this stretch aren’t taking transit. You may argue the rich use transit in NYC, but the Metrorail ain’t it, and Metromoober never will.

Anonymous

We can add street trains like Nice, they are fast and pretty one one rail line

Anonymous

All my rich friends take the metro mover, it’s the elite transit system of Miami because it is compact and only goes to the best areas
